Defensive Shooting Drills

Course Description:

This course focuses on assisting the student to develop their Defensive Shooting Skills. The series of Defensive Shooting Drills is designed to assist student in becoming a more accurate shooter.

Course Topics:

• Barricade Shooting
• Firearm transitions from Primary to Secondary
• Movement & Timed Drills
• Situational Awareness / Mindset
• Shooting from various Ports
• Shooting from Cover Supported and Unsupported Conventional & Unconventional Shooting Drills

Equipment Needed:

1. 100 rounds (Reloads/Re-manufactured Ammunition not allowed)
2. Carbine with sling with at least 2 Magazines
3. Ear Protection
4. Eye Protection
5. Knee & Elbow (Recommended)
6. Magazine pouches for Primary and Secondary Firearms
7. Notebook & Pen
8. Pistol with holster with at least 2 Magazines (Optional)
9. Positive Attitude
10. Sneakers/Boots (NO Dress Shoes, Flip Flops, Open Toed or Sandals)
11. Valid Driver's License or Government Issued Identification
