Course Description

The Advanced Trauma Care for Military Medical Professionals course is an intensive, hands-on training program designed specifically for military physicians, physician assistants (PA), nurse practitioners (NP), registered nurses (RN), and medics. This expert-led course focuses on critical life-saving skills and trauma care techniques using cadaveric specimens to simulate real battlefield conditions.

  • Airway and Breathing

    • Advanced airway management techniques​ (e.g., intubation, cricothyroidotomy)

    • Management of thoracic injuries (e.g., tension pneumothorax, hemothorax)

  • Circulation and Hemmorhage Control

    • Hemostatic techniques (e.g., tourniquets, wound packing, hemostatic agents)​

    • Vascular access and fluid resuscitation strategies

  • Thoracic and Abdominal Trauma​

    • Thoracotomy and emergency chest procedures​

    • Management of abdominal injuries and organ damage

  • Extremity Trauma

    • Fracture stabilization and orthopedic injury management​

    • Techniques for field amputation and limb preservation
